I'm trying out TopBraid for the first time, and I'm not getting too
far.

I start with an OWL file developed in Protege.

When I open it in TB, I get a complaint of missing imports.

I can't see why; purl (for example) is not referenced in the file at
all.

More alarmingly, all the content disappears inside of TB. All it will
show me is the following. All my content is missing.

Saving doesn't make it disappear in the file on disk.

  <owl:Ontology rdf:about="">
    <rdfs:comment xml:lang="en">An ontology for entity references as
extracted by REX.</rdfs:comment>
    <owl:imports rdf:resource="http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl"/>
    <j.0:imports rdf:resource="http://topbraid.org/spin/owlrl-all"/>
  </owl:Ontology>
