Hi Alex

I can confirm that Sesame 2 is the main avenue for using OWLIM and BigOWLIM in particular, so, it is unlikely that there are problems related to this integration

What I should note however is that since v.3.4, Nov'10, BigOWLIM is also well integrated with Jena. Even for some tasks the performance through Jena is better. You can look at these two pages:
http://www.ontotext.com/owlim/access_methods.html
http://www.ontotext.com/owlim/owlim-jena-performance.html

We are also just about to release BigOWLIM v3.5 where really all advanced features (e.g. geo-spatial indices, etc.) are available through Jena also

Thus, it could be interesting for you to try to integrate BigOWLIM to TBC through Jena, instead of Sesame. One benefit of using BigOWLIM through Jena is full SPARQL 1.1 support (aggregates, updates, etc.) which is still not available through Sesame

Cheers
Naso

p.s.: I am CC-ing Barry Bishop, the product manager of OWLIM, who may want to
add/comment also

Hey,

I tried for hours to get TopBraid work together with Sesame2. I tried
all types of repositories supported by Sesame (native java, in memory,
remote) and tried nearly all possibel combinations in the connection
wizard for Sesame2 (with and without named graph respectively
context). It's always possible to fetch the graph and I can see them.
But I couldn't get it to work, that changes in TopBraid are commited
to Sesame2 :(. Is there maybe some incompatibility with the current
version of Sesame2? I use Sesame 2.3.2.

Regards
Alex
