Yep, for organization reasons I keep it in a path a couple of levels down. Some Eclipse files are right close to the limit. In Windows there are some programs that are OK beyond the limit and some that are not (such as Windows explorer and Iron Mountain backup which has been barking at me about failed backups for this same reason ). I have a few eclipse distros so have been reluctant to move them, I guess maybe its time to bite the bullet and work around Windows limitations (not the first time, and I'm sure not the last ;-)
