The source code view only shows the triples that have the currently selected resource as subject. So if you just open a new file you will start at the file's owl:Ontology. This is the resource that has the owl:imports triples dangling from it. In order to see the full source code, right click on the file and open it with one of the built-in Eclipse text editors.
