Unfortunately I'm now experiencing similar workspace loading problem trying to use TBC-ME on 10.7.2.
I'd downloaded 3.5.2 and refreshed the workbench as per the link you provided. I waited until seeing Scott's reply to JohnD before downloading 10.7.2 since I regularly use TBC-ME.
