Just to close this out, the problem was resolved offline by using
'Model > Refresh all caches and views' to see if the cache has stale
data from the connection.  This is normal when changes are made to the
data-back-end that the client (Composer) has not had a chance to
cache.  For example, if you have an Oracle connector in TBC, then
export to it, the connector cannot know that the back-end has changed
until you refresh the cache by either re-opening the connector or
using the aforementioned cache refresh command.
