Hi again Scott,
I did exactly as you instructed: I created a new general Project
following the Getting Started Guide section 2.3.2 (see attached
screenshot1.png). I then created a new file in this project as
instructed in Section 3 Exercise 6 (page 15) of the Getting Started
Guide, by right-clicking on the project and selecting New > RDF/OWL
Sesame2 Repository Connection. I again filled in the necessary
details, and the file was placed in the correct project folder (see
screenshot2.png). Again, however, when I tried to open the .s2r file I
got the read-only file error message (see screenshot3.png) and the
file icon has a small 'lock' image on it.
As far as I can tell, the s2r file is not being added to the TopBraid
project. If the problem is as Holger suggested, that the Sesame
repository I am connecting to is read-only, would I expect to see the
read-only file error shown in screenshot3.png?
Yes, that's expected. Do you have some way of checking whether the
Sesame is indeed read-only to confirm this hypothesis? It does sound
like the most likely explanation now.
Thanks,
Holger
