Have you tried rdfs:Resource? (This assumes you are operating on a graph
that has all imports including the system triples - using
_withImports=true on the servlet or ui:graphWithImports(?graph) on the
graph would do this.

owl:Thing is for instances and owl:Class is for class. Let me know
what should be the arg:type to search all these.
