Hi Jack,
thanks, we have noted your suggestions. We are beyond code freeze for
6.1 so the earliest we could get to would be 6.2 next year. With our
focus shifting from SPIN to SHACL, I am afraid this may only bubble up
the stack if a fix is reasonably easy to do.

I have relied on the expertise of others for too long and have dived
again into using SPINMap. I have noticed a couple of issues that TQ
really should have fixed a long time ago, and hope that they will
bubble up in the priority to resolve. First, every time I add new
classes to the diagram, or make any change in terms of mapping, the
diagram refreshes. Like the other diagram viewer, TQ needs to add a
'refresh' button so that refresh doesn't happen unless I tell it to.
Then I can drag items onto the canvas, move them around, add links
between them, and then save the diagram. I have spent 'so' much wasted
time reordering classes it is just silly. Related to this is that if I
begin to drag a link it the diagram won't scroll, requiring me to move
the class into a position where the other class is located so that I
can link the two without hitting a page boundary. I know that this has
been a problem with the other diagram forever, but it is a serious bug
nonetheless.
Suggestion: (1) Add a 'refresh' button for SPINMap diagrams and never
refresh until that button is selected
(2) Allow the page to scroll when adding links
Respectively submitted,
