Thanks for clarifying, Richard. So the SPARQL queries can change independently 
from the Modify Actions? Asking because it sounds like the alternative could be 
to store the queries as part of the dash:js of the actions. Why the additional 
intermediate step?

Right, changing the data itself would be unusual, certainly for Explore 
operations.
