Hi,

is there a simple way to display a sequence diagram from a uml file without
manual adjustments?

I created a simple sequence diagram with 3 lifelines and one message in the
graphical editor and got both .uml and .umldi files from it. When I then
imported the .uml file into a new project and created a new UML diagram (of
type sequence diagram) from the interaction within the model, I got the
.umldi file with the same structure as the original .umldi file, but the
only thing displayed on the diagram were the lifelines. I was able to drag
and drop the Behavior Execution Specification from the outline to any of the
displayed lifelines. However, I was not able to drag and drop the Message or
any of the two Message Occurence Specifications anywhere onto the diagram.

I was wondering if there is a simple way one could import .uml sequence
diagrams into Topcased and have them correctly displayed without having to
drag and drop all the message-related elements manually. Or if anyone knows
how (and where) to drag and drop the messages on the diagram, that may help
too.

Thank you.

Zuzana
