First, congratulations on 2.0, Topcased has really improved and continues to
prove itself!
Secondly, how can I tune Topcased and plugins for a customized environment?
Im running a non-Topcased environment (Ganymede) in addition to 2.0 and have
two questions with plugins and performance:
PLUGINS
Can non-Topcased plugins be added or plugins removed e.g. ATL, AadlL, Acceleo
that arent being used? Also, Ive looked at Ganymedes p2 and dropins and
have chosen to stay with the older links structure between three locations:
For Example:
<topcased>/links -> <shared eclipse-plugins for links>
/plugins
/...
<non-topcased>/links -> <shared eclipse-plugins for links>
/plugins
/...
The above appears to be working, but this leads to performance...
PERFORMANCE
Set vmargs for startup among other preference settings...
Unchecked - Preferences > General > Startup and Shutdown: ATL, Deploy Topcased
Services, RCP, Toolkit, and Webserver.
Any experiences or recommendations by anyone?
