What versions of Topcased and OSATE are you using? There have been problems with the original Topcased generated editor for OSATE. We made some fixes to the graphical editor to make it more stable. Download OSATE 1.5.5 from the www.aadl.info<http://www.aadl.info> website and add the following patches by unzipping them into the eclipse folder of the OSATE installation. http://la.sei.cmu.edu/aadl/xfer/topcased-1.5.5patch-12092008.zip This patch will come out shortly as release 1.5.6.

I am not using Osate diagrams any more, but I am using ADELE to generate textual aadl code, and it works well.
