Hi Emilien, Thanks for your answer ! Unfortunately, I tried to remove the jars, but the manager still "sees" EMF Compare and reports conflicts when I want to install 0.9. I guess I should also dig down in those config files and remove any reference to EMF Compare ... Yet, everything works fine under a new Eclipse 3.4 installation. I can install, then remove 0.8 and install 0.9 without a problem. So it probably has something to do with Topcased ... but what ? Regards, Martin Neidert

And it requires Eclipse 3.5 platform whereas Topcased 2.5 is based on Eclipse 3.4 platform. I advise you to upgrade your platform to use Compare 0.9. When you try to uninstall a feature through the software manager, sometimes the related plugins are not uninstalled. You can delete the related jar (org.eclipse.emf.compare.*) in plugins folder of your Eclipse/Topcased installation path.
