Hi Emilien, Adding my two cents here, but EMF Compare _is_ compatible with Eclipse 3.4. We build against 3.5 as we are part of the Galileo release train, yet we do maintain backward compatibility along the way even though few Eclipse plugins do the same. The download page doesn't mention it, yet the wiki http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF_Compare#Compatibility does.
@Martin : The impossibility to uninstall EMF Compare 0.8 from the update manager most probably comes from another plugin having a strict dependency on version 0.8.1, thus preventing uninstallation.
