Hi Miguel, With Topcased, there are two ways to create activity diagrams: 1/ from a Use case, just double click and a popup window will ask if you want to create a diagram to describe the UC behaviour : you will have the following choicies: activity, statechart, sequence. If you select "activity diagram" the diagram will be created for you below the UC.
2/ directly from the outline, from any model element of the tree model. Note: in UML2, an activity diagram is associated to an activity UML element. So first you have to create an activity with "create child>package element>Activity" command (right click). Then, below this activity you will get "add activity diagram" menu. A TOPCASED UML editor tutorial is available on http://www.topcased.org that explains that and other tool features. regards raphaël Date du message : mai 18 2009, 06:36 PM De : [email protected] A : [email protected] Copie : Sujet : [Topcased-users] New activity diagram in existing model Hi, I am trying to add an activity diagram to an existing model but in 'Add diagram', the only diagrams that appear are: Class, Component, Deployment, Sequence, State Machine and Use Case diagrams. I could create a new activity diagram but I also had to create a new model. How can I add a new activity diagram to an existing mode? Best regards, Miguel Figueiredo Nokia Siemens Networks, S.A.
