Hi Chu,
did you have a try with Topcased 2.5?
There have been many performance improvments about loading, deletions as
there were caches missing.
Please tell us if there is still a perforamnce issue with Topcased 2.5 .

Hi all,
We've been using a very big UML model in our project with Topcased
2.3. This model is divided hierarchally (by "control" functionality)
into many sub models (about 80 of them). When we open the root model
diagram, Topcased also loads all of the sub models. So this operation
runs very slowly now, even the root model diagram contains only a
small model.
So we have a few questions:
+ Is this "open" process above is normal? Can we somehow tune it?
+ Why does Topcased need to load the sub models, instead of using
proxy (which the EMF's UML editor does very well)?
We have also discussed with Etienne Juliot from Obeo but we haven't
found a solution for this issue yet. So any help will be really
appreciated!
Thanks in advance and regards,
Chu
