would like to know if it possible to use templates (template
signatures, template bindings, ...) in SysML.
According to the UML and SysML specifications,
RedefinableTemplateSignature and TemplateParameters are applicable to a
Classifier.
All elements that inherit from Classifier such as Blocks can own a
RedefinableTemplateSignature.
I
looked into SysML's specifications, but there's not a word about it and
I never saw any SysML model with templates. Still, Topcased's SySML
editor allows to create template signatures, template bindings and
such, but nothing is displayed on diagrams (unlike the UML editor).
The feature hasn't been implemented yet, that's why you can add it
through the outline but you can't in the diagram
Are
templates part of SysML or not ? If so, could anyone tell me if
representing templates in Topcased's SysML editor is a planned feature ?
