Hi,
When an .umltmp is created inside your workspace it means that something
goes wrong.
Can you send your umltmp, I will be able to tell if you can reach your
goal or not.
Otherwise, check your Console and/or Error log to get more information.
As you guess, .umltmp is the intermediate file before getting umldi file.
Nothing is planned in the future concerning this import.

The emxdi import created two files .uml and .umltmp. The .uml file holds all
model elements (i.e. Packages, classes, links, dependencies etc ...) but no
diagrams. My guess is that the .umltmp is probably the intermediate file for
the final .umldi but something is not finishing correctly ...
Just curious, is there any plan to update the importer?

I do not know the plug-in you are talking about but I can give you the
way we did it.
In RSM, do an export as uml resource (I assume it is a UML model).
Make sure to check the option to export stereotypes if you have some.
Then, in TOPCASED, create a umldi giving this uml model.
And finally, configure the graphical settings of your project as they
were in RSM.
After that, you can drag&drop your elements in new diagrams.
In some cases, you can use the auto-layout tool to save time.
