I'm using Topcased 3.3 for one year now, and I tried to install the 4.1.0 on
Helios SR1 :
1st I had :
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be
found.
Software being installed: Topcased SAM Editor 4.1.0.v201009271238
(org.topcased.sam.feature.group 4.1.0.v201009271238)
Missing requirement: Topcased SAM Editor 4.1.0.v201009271238
(org.topcased.sam.feature.group 4.1.0.v201009271238) requires
'org.eclipse.emf.search 0.0.0' but it could not be found
So I installed emf.search
2nd I have :
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be
found.
Software being installed: Topcased SysML Editor 4.1.0.v201009271238
(org.topcased.sysml.feature.group 4.1.0.v201009271238)
Missing requirement: Migration SysML 3.0.0.v201009271238
(org.topcased.sysml.ibd.migration 3.0.0.v201009271238) requires 'bundle
fr.tm.elibel.smartqvt.stdlibs 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Topcased SysML Editor 4.1.0.v201009271238
(org.topcased.sysml.feature.group 4.1.0.v201009271238)
To: org.topcased.sysml.ibd.migration [3.0.0.v201009271238]
And I'm wondering how many dependencies shall be satisfied but not present in
specific Topcased/dependencies in update site. This is confusing for using
topcased, because installation process becomes tricky. It is pity, the tools
are very interesting and very usefull, but the installation no.
Another question : I'm using Acceleo 3, and I see that Topcased 4.1 stills
depend on Acceleo 2.7 plugin.
Which plugin does depend on Acceleo 2.7 ?
Is it planned to update this dependency to Acceleo 3 ?
