Hello, To make a long story short, component realization is poorly supported in topcased 5.2.0.

If the tool allows users to links Component with Package, it is only because 'component realization' is a kind of 'Abstraction' and an 'Abstraction' can link Package to Component. It seems some formal constraints are missing in UML to limit the 'client' property of a 'component realization' to a Classifier (while it is implicit in the semantic description). > Why is it not possible to build a well-formed 'component realization'? Currently, only 'Component diagram' provides a graphical access to create a 'component realization'. Unfortunately, 'Component diagram' does not allow user to show Class thus it is not possible in a diagram to draw a 'component realization' between a 'Class' and a 'Component'. You can still create a 'component realization' between 2 components. > Workaround >From a semantic point of view, 'component realizations' are 'realization' with >limitations on the supplier and the client of the 'realization'.
