Dear Peter Thank you for your precision on the topic. There are many other issues about Papyrus. I did not knew that one (since I don't use association class at all). I shall mention the basic security mechanism one shall set when using Papyrus :
Put your folder under version control (either svn to have integration of SCM in the model explorer, or simply git) to have an independent rollback mechanism. Papyrus has not came out of incubation BUT I use it everyday since some months now, and I can have nice diagrams (color gradient, set labels fields on connectors, set which compartment to print -none for pure domain models, or full in SysML-, and more..) If you have to spend some times on diagrams (and don't use association class), then try, at least, create diagrams with Papyrus. And use version control to fasten your seatbelt.
