tmpname0901: The check is based on profile contents, not on env var. Your
setup should still work. However, you probably want to set the
TOR_CONTROL_PORT and TOR_CONTROL_PASSWD environment variables to point at
your relay. That will give you the ability to run New Identity. I think
you might even be able to set them to junk, if you just want the browser
to clear state.
