I used to do this; it was a way of keeping my relay up and running while
using the Tor-modified version of Firefox, which I was lead to believe was
superior to the standard Firefox build. I simply copied a shortcut of the
tbb-firefox.exe icon to my desktop. I am not sure why this was such a
"big deal" or why you needed disabled this ability.
