I finally found the reason for the 2px deviation on Windows: the Torbutton
button on the toolbar is causing the re-rendering of the UI (neither the
NoScript nor the HTTPS Everywhere button behave in this way). One can see
this effect "live" if one removes and adds the icon from/to the
currentSet. That might give us some new options to solve this issue in a
"clean" way...
