Dear Tor Project, I'm writing on behalf of the CryptoJapan Project ( http://ww.cryptojapan.org/ ), and I wanted to ask a few questions about translation volunteer work.
We found a Transifex translation project online for Tor ( https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/torproject/language/ja/ ), and we've already asked one of our volunteer translators to join the site and start working on the remaining material. In the event that the translation becomes 100% complete, will the Tor Project be packaging up and hosting the Japanese build of Tor on torproject.org, or would we be expected to do that ourselves? If the Japanese build is hosted on Tor Project's site, we were hoping to either host a mirror of it ourselves, or put up a torrent of it, or possibly both. We though it would be best to run that by you first, however. Would that be acceptable, or would you prefer that we didn't? Thank you for your time and hard work, and looking forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely, - The CryptoJapan Project
