Hi Israel,
I installed gvfs , logged out, logged back in.
1) Clicking on Trash and Devices worked as expected.2) Clicking on Network
produced the error pop-up in the included screenshot.3) Still have missing
Volume and Battery panel items after logging back in again.

To solve this issue:
sudo apt install gvfs
torios-exit
and log back in.
