No, you were right the first time. I'm pretty sure Peer was talking about auto-built installers. I've just pushed a fix to thg-crew-steve that will allow thg to work against the tip of mercurial, or slightly older versions (1.1.2 at least). Matt has asked that people who build installers to start building them periodically against hg (tip) so the 1.2 release can be stabilized.
