Hi Steve,
Thanks a lot for your answer and support. Here are my reply to your questions.
> When run in 'user' mode, the settings dialog modifies Mercurial.ini in your
> %USERPROFILE% directory.
I found the folder ".tortoisehg" in my %USERPROFILE% folder, and inside there
are the files ChangeSet, clone, config_history, DataMineDialog, GCommit, GLog,
GStatus, and synch, but I can not find the file Mercurial.ini.
I also checked the file Mercurial.ini in C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg but it
doesn't seems to contains any path in it.
> When run in 'repo' mode, the settings dialog modifies {root}/.hg/hgrc
I opened the {root}/.hg/hgrc in my text editor to see it. It was empty under
the [path] section. I then change the repo settings for the path with
TortoiseHG dialog window. When I close it, my text editor indicates me that the
file was changed, and ask me if I want to reload it, I clicked yes, but the
file {root}/.hg/hgrc is still empty under the [path]. So it seems that
TortoiseHG really modified it, but didn't write anything in it.
This file is not read only.

So, it is strange because in global mode, the file is missing, and in repo
mode, the file is modified but no visible modification is made.

Well I have some URL in this drop-down list, but I suspect these URL comes from
my history of pull/push, even if the one I tried to add in the alias list are
the same URL as the ones I used to pull/push and that I typed manually.
I think the alias should be very convenient, because in my team the machine
names contains number and it's difficult to remember which number is associated
with which person in my team.
