Personally I would prefer to use meld for that, so I hope that will work too. In 3-pane mode I would use parent1, child/wd, parent2. (I very seldom use base when I merge or review diffs.) (Meld uses gtk and looks nice together with hgtk. It would be nice if meld could be improved and debugged to match kdiff3 functionality.
