I'm pretty close to merging this work, I cloned Adrian's repository this weekend and took a look at it.
The C++ work is still based on -stable, which will require a bit of fixup work, but that's not a big deal. I couldn't figure out from looking at the code how the new extensions are supposed to be registered or how they use the RPC server that's in the tortoise directory. Would it be possible for Adrian or TK to add a page to the crew wiki (or update the existing source install page) to describe how one is supposed to bootstrap this new code?
