I added the extension to the ini file and the documentation says it should pick a credentials store automatically. However, I was still prompted for username/password pair. >> Why does it ask for the username and password separately, instead of >> in a single dialog as is typical with most other applications? > >Under the covers, it is capturing prompt from Mercurial and forwarding >them to the GUI. I thought the point of the GUI was to hide/minimize such chatter from me? In general, thg feels like I have to go through more steps to achieve the same operation than I would have to do in tsvn. (No, I'm not counting the push as part of the more steps; I understand the nature of distributed vcs and why that extra step is there.) -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com/the-direct3d-graphics-pipeline/> Legalize Adulthood! <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Tortoisehg-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tortoisehg-discuss
