It seems like a sort of large project. The working directory is larger
than Linux kernel.

Ah, thanks! I got it. Manifest is designed for static (i.e. committed) data,
but TortoiseHg allows to show uncommitted working directory, which is
actually a previous cache of directory state.

refreshWctx() updates the cache, but manifest doesn't reflect it unless
you deselect and reselect the working copy revision. So I guess it shows
wrong status icon.
