Hi,

I am seeing a behaviour which I am sure is a bug in TortoiseSVN (probably a
race condition of some sort.) I would like to know if there is a known solution
or if I can maybe help to debug this.

Behaviour is as follows:

* I attempt to merge a change from a different branch (TortoiseSVN --> Merge)
* Merge failes, says working copy is already locked
* I run Cleanup
* Try the merge again - same result
* BUT after a couple of attempts it will eventually work

More info:
* this happens with certain large projects only (~100 GB working copy)
* it happens not with all, but with many merge attempts
* it happens on at least 3 different machines for me
* merging with command line SVN always works, I use that as a workaround
* bug seems more likely on a HDD than on a SSD, but that may be my imagination
* it is relatively easy to reproduce on my machine(s) with my project, but I am
not sure how the devs can repro it. I am a C++/C# developer myself and can
assist with debugging, however.

Thanks!

David
