I've been meaning to take a look at the translation to Swedish (and I have done some bits and pieces) but I must admit that it is quite low on my list of priorities, definately behind working on the code. While in principle I think it is nice to have localized manuals, considering your points (especially 1 and 4), I think it is a correct decision to remove the translated docs. On a sidenote: has anyone of you even used the translated docs? Or do you > use the English ones? > I would use the English, especially since it is easier to ask questions *here* using the correct terminology instead of trying to guess the correct term for #insert localized term#.
