Emma, I don't think I disparaged anyone in particular.
 I merely inquired as to whether there were others who
found this avenue of promotion less than interesting,
though admittedly very compelling to some.  That's
part of the reason I asked in the first place--to try
to figure out what about this I wasn't getting.  Sorry
if I offend.
