I for one never interpreted your posting as a joke but can understand how it
may have been misconstrued as such, and in view of this can only applaud you
for the manner in which you have subsequently explained your original
meaning.
I'm new to this mailing list and have greatly enjoyed and been interested in
the postings from yourself and the other contributors and believe that
Madness can count themselves lucky to have such a great following - which is
not to say they do not deserve it of course!
