Hey Mike,

As one of these Americans, I can say "yeah,
basically."  As a matter of fact, when Blur brought
out the self-titled album, all I heard was that it was
directly influenced by bands like Pavement.  In other
words, it's got two or three good songs, tops.  I
haven't heard good things about "13" and haven't come
near buying it either.

Ian Dury, Madness & Jools Holland all together--ah,
that must've been something.  I look forward to some
kind videotaping person within the broadcast signal of
that show compiling that onto a tape for worldwide
distribution.  I hope so anyway.
