OK I've now had time to reflect upon the sadness of the latest singles offering - JTH
- only charting at no44 this week. Having thought about it, here's why.

When I initially heard that JTH was going to be the follow up to Lovestruck, I was
disapointed to say the least. Knowing that there were better (my opinion) options for
singles (Communicator, Drip Fed to name but two) left me, yet again, asking questions
about who chooses what is released as a single. I remember having exactly the same
thoughts when One Better Day was released (if only Victoria Gardens had made it to the
vinyl presses as an A side).

The pushing back of the release date hasn't helped either.

Still, it's not up to us! I'm just pleased that I'm going to get the chance to enjoy
the same feeling I had back in 1980 (is it really that long ago!) when I rushed down
to the record store on a Monday morning to purchase the latest offering from a band
who I thought would conquer the world USA Europe Britain London. It'll just take me a
bit longer to get there.

So however popular the new album is, I just want to say thanks and well done to the
boys for breathing life back into this old dog again.
