Hi Elizabeth and all you Maddies,
According to Yalplay.com, the MS4 DVD is for Region 2 which covers the UK,
Japan, Europe and probably everywhere except the USA!!! But can't you get
the manufacturer to fiddle with your DVD player so that it can play DVDs
from ANY region? With a lot of models over here you can. And sometimes you
just do something with the remote control to confuse the machine (I think
that's the Samsung one). And if you play them through a PC you can download
a small piece of software to let you play DVDs from other regions. My mate
did that and gets US DVDs of films that aren't even in the cinema in the UK
yet!
