I don't post to the list very often but enjoy reading everyone's postings.
Anyway, just a short e-mail to say that I was speaking to Angela Chan from
the BBC today with regards to the BBC filming of `Young Guns Go For It`
which will feature Madness. A month or so back I was told to keep quiet
about this whole project until told otherwise, but since then I've seen a
number of others post to the list about it and now Anglea has asked me to go
public with this request.
BBC 2 are looking for original Madness fans to interview for a 40 minute
documentary. The film will be part of the next series of 'Young Guns Go For
It', a four parter on 1980s bands due to be shown next April. We'd like to
talk to die-hard fans who were part of Madness's early skinhead following,
who have strong views and a good story to tell. Anyone interested who feels
they fit the bill and is free to come to London next Thursday morning (11th
Nov) should E-mail me with a daytime phone number by early next week at
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' and I will get in touch.
