Hey noW!
you may have to excuse me as I am in shit form with
the cancellation of Dublin. anyone out there with a
ticket spare fo Madchester give me a shout...

Anyway if DFF is the next single, I wish it well, yet
putting my head on the block here, if any song on that
album SHOULD NOT be a single, its DFF.
I am sorry folks...don't get me wrong. I like the
track, its a thompson-satire at its best. The story of
corruption is done almost in play-like form. A
classsic tarck. However this is essentially a fans
song.
The general public just won't 'GET IT' I feel. I can't
see radio play being a major fan either.
Also with the greatest of respect, I think the song
puts Madness backwards in its "maturity". when i say
that, i mean the chorus is very simple and almost
childish...driving in my car style.
I know there are many out there whop would disagree
and by all means do. I am just airing my own opinion.
I like the track, but its not single material.

And in regards to publicity, If the band are not 100%
behind this one in the way a band should be in
publicising, then unfortunatley it will meet the same
fate as the late JTH. Christ I hope I am wrong, but
its my gut feeling.

Yes they should be more cautious and less run off
their feet as before, but as the old Dave Robinson
once quoth: 'a tired band is a happy band'(or
something like that).
All the best
Vince!
