Well, my comments on Madness and their lack of publicity, certainly was
in agreement with a lot of people on the web. Thankyou for the response.
I did not mean though to sound so negative as a few people have pointed out.
The album is superb, the band do sound better than ever and they have proved
that they can still write and play great classic records.
I for one hope that they continue for years to come, the Madstock events are
an institution,( but I hope we continue to get new material.)
Where will Boyzone, five, steps etc etc be in 5 years time??? My guess is
nowhere in the public eye.....probably in court fighting over royalties or
playing pool in a bar with Take That(not Robbie), Bros, Jason Donovan or 5
Star...remember them? The record companies have fleeced the fans of these
once big boy/girl groups and as we all know will just as easy do it to
todays talentless puppets as soon as the profits slump.
THE CONCERTS IN DECEMBER WILL PROVE TO EVERYONE THAT MADNESS HAVE A SOLID
BACKING OF LOTS OF FANS WHO APPRECIATE THEIR TALENT FOR WHAT IT IS.
Jim the copper. (boy/girl bands...I hate them).
