Personally, I think Drip Fed Fred is actually quite a good choice for a
single. Whilst I love Lovstruck and JTH, I did feel that compared to other
songs on the album, that they were playing it a bit safe (even if JTH did
bomb). If they release Drip Fed Fred they'll be hanging their balls out
there a bit, and people will see this, especially since Ian Dury's on it and
it is a bit of an odd song anyway. At the end of the day, it sounds like,
and when they do it live, it looks like they're just having a laugh, and I
thought that was their appeal from day one. Not to mention it kicks butt.
Whilst I'm on here, here's my top 5.
1.The Communicator
2. Saturday Night Sunday Morning
3. Drip Fed Fred
4. No Money
5. If I Didn't Care
Before I go, I'm just putting the finishing touches to a Madness video, 3
full hours made soully from TV appearences, pretty much since 1992
(including Lee and Woody being interviewed by Chris Evans on The Big
Breakfast, "You're Wonderful" at Euro 96 and Suggs on Jools Holland). Also,
Hamburg 1981. If anybody's interested drop me a line, and also, any of the
people who've just bought the last lot of vids, let me know what you think
(offline!). Right, I'm off to rest my hands in some warm water. Byeee,
Adam F.
