I pick up the Lot for �28.99 today from Our Price. I was expecting
them to be charging something really silly, like �58, like I saw on CD
Zone (I think).
Anyway, when I got the discs home and finally managed to extrct them
from their gatefold sleeves (not good design IMO- I'll probably
re-house them in jewel cases), I played Mad Not Mad first.
As was pointed out here, Time has about 3 seconds extra on the drum
intro. I then attempted playing the other discs, but none would
register in my CD!
I have one of those double CD/CD Recorders by Philips, and the discs
just kept spining when placed in the Playback deck. Everything was OK
in the record deck though! I put them in my other CD player, and they
were fine in that too. Strange.
Another point about this set, is that Prospects on the Keep Moving
disc, now starts correctly, whereas on my old CD edition, it just
clipped the beginning. A few tracks on this album seem to over lap the
fade out onto the begiining of the next track.
I would have preferred reproductions of the original sleeves though.
Some of the video grabs aren't great quality, and have been blurred to
hide this a little.
Finally, there's an error on the Keep Moving page of the booklet,
stating 1993 instead of '83. D'oh!!
