Can't hear much of a similarity here.
But talking about endings, the one from "Elysium" reminds me a lot
of the slowing down at the end of "Mad Not Mad", don't you think ?
While we're at "Elysium",

Maybe I'm wrong (blame the dictionary :), but
"If I Didn't Care" sounds 'spookier' to me. Confused the songs ?

The beat, hmm... not really... catchy, yes !
I agree with whoever stated that the beat is reminiscent of
Phil Collins' "Can't hurry love" or Hall&Oates' "Maneater".
No bad thing since I really like both songs. Well, all three songs.

Well, I'm sorry that I can't hear or feel much of a similarity here either.
It's more like The Madness' "11th Hour", does anybody agree ?
