Hey Now,
Last night I put out amessage to the list to let you
all in on the happiness I was feeling on returning
howm from England thsi weekend.I mentioned that I met
the band backstage as did one Adele Hargraves. I then
mentioned her as a 'groupie', now doing so I meant
nothing at all derogitory about this. Howvere it has
been drawn to my attention that this may have, in
fact, has caused offense. That Adele would ever be
classed as such, is completely untrue and way off the
mark. Infact I know that certain members may have
taken offence at this. Again this is not what I had
meant. If anything I have always respected the bands
honesty and normality, thats what I always liked about
them...they would never stoop to such lows. Adele, I
NEVER meant anything bad in that, infact it was a
compliment to the way the band genuinley have time for
you. I was astounded at the way Woody, Lee and Chas
knew you and spoke to you as ye were old friend.to be
perfectly honest, the one thing about this list I hate
is the bullshit politics that goes on from time to
time and how soemtimes offense is caused. Infact I
have been victim of this from time to tikme. however I
have met some great peolpe both online and in person,
and would like to think that they felt the same way
about me. I was in Manchester last Saturday night and
was proud to introduce such a respected fan as
yourself to the list. I would never discredit your
name in any way you may have taken it to be. I have
met you on two seperate occasions and left you each
time, the better for your accquaintence. I here
publically apologise so that everyone can see that I
am truely sorry if I indeed caused offence. Really
Adele I thought you knew me enough that I would never
stoop to such lows. I meant it in the light-heartest
of ways and only promoted the fact that you are
perhaps the most respect fan out there. The trem
'groupie' was just my way of articulating that fact.If
indeed I am removed fromthe list for such an
accusation well that is your decision. Infact if this
is my last post, I want to thank everyone for their
time, freindship and warmth over the time ' ve ben
here. Let me finish by once again stating publically
that I NEVER, repeat NEVER meant tpo offended you and
yours when i called you a 'groupie' please accept my
sincerest apologies and deep regret at this statement.
