aye we're gettin' there, the final
bit....
As you know, all good things must come to an end,
so we all headed to our agreed meeting point & once we were all there we
headed up the road , trying to dodge the bootleggers & only a certain young
"doctor (allegedly)"
succumbed to the pressure (that's what Aberdeen
does to you mate !)
& I do believe you paid over the odds for it..
you could have had it for �3 !
Then it was time for those tired & weary &
those travelling home to head off - we said our goodbyes & then there was 7
- the magic number ! (me, Colin, Peter, Dave, Al, Jenny & Cathy -
I think that was the lot anyway - "DRINK !!!").
We all headed to a night club (Planet Earth I presume).
It was mobbed (Stoo, yer tongue would have been
hingin' oot yer heid !!),
90's on one floor & 80's on the floor above - I
don't even have to say which floor we went to do I ?, the drink was extortionate
(�6 for 2 bottles of hooch) & it took ages to get served, but apart from
that it was OK ! - the high point was when I asked the DJ to play madness &
it must be love came on - more nutty dancing - we were in our glory - stickin'
oot !
Jenny & Al had disappeared somewhere ?? &
at about 1.15am Colin & I decided to head off to get some kip before our
long drive home the next morning (you should have done the same eh Peter !). We
said our goodbyes to Peter, Dave & Cathy & then taxi to bed
!
All in all it was (as Stoo says) a spectacularly
minted sort of a day, one of my best ever & I canny wait till the next one
(madstock 5, Scottish madmeet ???).
But before I go, look out for my next mail, on it
will be a list of questions about our day that I feel need answered - watch this
space.
