And finally... Part Seven (well it had to be, didn't it;-)) of the Great Adventure... Watched Mark being a reporter, while Suggs & Cathal the coppers, stood either side of Lee (Fred), excellent take done on that, Cathal getting changed, yes, naked chest, red & grey jockey shorts, it was a sight to behold, Emma was stood about a foot from him ;o) Dressed in blue shirts & sat in front of the mini stage, we were directed by Cathal & had a giggle, God what will we look like? Final scenes finally done, with not a moment to spare, as the lighting guy was already packing his van. Cathal & Suggs had to take off, everyone saying their goodbyes, Lee wanting to pay me for the two days, no bloody way! Emma took a photo of me, Mike & Timmy Barson, & we headed off. Gave Cathal a call on the mobile, who also wanted to argue about money with me. God almighty, I would have gladly paid them for the opportunity to be there! He finally accepted that I would not accept payment, & has a gift for me instead. Promises to come down again & not leave it too long, & finally said goodbye. Emma & I had to go back to the hospital with the drip, & to get her car. And after what was supposed to be a day in London watching them shoot their video, which turned into two days of being a runner, wardrobe, make-up, props, stand in, merry widow, Miss Kitty & a convict, it was time to head home. I have to admit to a wee tear in my eye on the way home, I was tired as hell, & utterly disbelieving of all that had happened. It was hearing You're Wonderful in the car that did it. I had the best two days humanly possible & I would like to thank Emma for coming down & sharing it with me, special thanks to Stoo, Graham, Nigel & Sarah, it was all the more enjoyable getting to share it with friends, lovely to meet Ashley, Cat, Scatty etc. Massive amounts of adoration to the guys & crew who were so accepting & kind. Mostly to my dear friend Swanny, without whom none of this would have been possible. Acceptance speech done, I know this is an incredibly long mail, but it was a very long two days. It's gonna be a corking video. And could all those who came please e-mail me with your snail mail addys as Virgin are sending me something for each of you as a thankyou from the band.
