Hiya Mad-folks.

The DFF single is well worth buying for the DFF demo version :P
Now, Is that Mike and Lee singing the first verse or Lee dubbed in twice???
It definitely sounds like Mike.

and who sings the Revend Green bit??
It sounds like Suggs- but it's not. Is it Lee??

Light of the way sounds like Cathal pub singing in a country music style (with heavy reverb).Crap. I don't like it. Where are the nutty boys?? (or as I would say to Robert 'Bobbins!!!!' ;) )

The lyrics printed inside are the same ones printed in the Japanese Wonderful import and obviously are incorrect, as predicted before (oct 99??) they are from the demo, 'Hank C Burnette BBC news' etc.. mmmm.. its making me think of the other lyrics from the album printed in the booklet.. all flamin' demo version lyrics!! ;)

Anorak bit- what is Madness' lowest chart position???
Johnny the horse? nah!! (top tune at that)
It was 'Waiting for the ghost train' that re-entered the charts in February 1987 at number 67.

I'm saying this, because I dont think Drip fed Fred will chart- god forbid, I dont wish it, but its took me all day to find the singles- unlike Lovestruck and JTH previously.
How can it chart if no bugger can buy it?? and how many hardcore fans actually know about the release??? It's all very well us having net access etc...but with no official fan club and mis-leading posters with incorrect release dates. phhhffft!!
I dread next Sunday at 8pm when I get the email from the chart people.

I also think the fans have been taken for a ride.
two singles, which you know we must buy- only difference being is a not-so nutty track from Cathal and the DFF demo.
For crying out loud- why not put all five tracks on one fucking CD, and still room for quicktime movie or two.
This is definitely an exploit aimed at Maddies to buy two CDs.
The casual Madness listener wont buy it because they have probably got the album- and see no point of buying the single.
I'm disgusted, but again these are only my thoughts- so don't start a thread about it!!!

I think DFF stands a chance of chart entry if they get on TOTP next week.

My vote is with Fred!!!

beersNcheers
Simon.
